Passionate of music, I did my utmost to reach the essential emotion felt with the sound and beauty of a Steinway.
For this invitation to a bewitching musical journey, I conceived instruments who are most demanding in their conception and making.

Holder of a Master in science of firm management and having had superior technical training, Eric Van Gucht occupied successively different jobs in the wood industry, in computer science, in electronics and industrial capital goods.
At the same time his constant researches in electro-acoustic, led him to create QUELLIS technology.
The determining encounters with internationally known professionals in the electro-acoustic world, allowed him to establish the relevance of his project.

In order to understand QUELLIS's philosophy, it is important to recall the origin of this adventure.
My initial project was to find the intact emotion felt during a concert through sound reproduction in a domestic environment.
So, my researches concerned the different mechanical, electronic, and acoustic distortions, responsible of the deterioration of the sound.

The technical philosophy of QUELLIS was built following these evolutions:
-The conception of the cabinet maker, integrates the relation between form/dimension/volume
-The use of EC standard material, with excellent homogeneity and dimensional stability characteristics
-The manufacturing on a machine with digital control increasing by 80% the power and rigidity of the pieces
-The mechanical insulation of the cabinet maker , of the tweeter, of the port, of parts of the filter and every weld
-The use of decoupling feet allowing an optimal evacuation of the energy stocked in the box in transitory capacity
-The manufacturing on project specifications of the speakers QUELLIS, of the components (selfs, condenser, resistor), of the best quality currently available on the market. The internal cabling specific to QUELLIS.
-The development of a protocol for the calculation of load volume. The use of specific absorption materials.
And finally, from the beginning I wanted QUELLIS to intergrate every universe, classical or contemporary, with a sober design and a luxurious finishing.
The nature of the product itself and the high standards of manufacturing limit the volumes of production.
The delivery delays are from two to four months.

History of Quai du Son
Since its opening in 2005, Quai du Son satisfies demanding customers including music and electro acoustic lovers through a selection of extremely rigourous products and presenting efficient but affordable solutions (first system starting from 2500€).The warm welcome given to visitors, the listening of their needs, finding adequate solutions and the quality of the chosen materials have allowed us to gather faithful and renewed customers.
The choice of materials
The High Loyalty offer is enormous and I always meet in the shop clients who are lost amongst all the offers. The products have very different levels when looking for quality sound.
Facing such realities, I offer products meticulously selected and in different price ranges.
The budget
This assessment allows us to offer musical pack from 2500.00€ to 100.000€, for the more demanding.
The listening room
The different material implementations of every configuration possible allows us to have unequal experience in putting together a system with the only and unique objective of recreating musical reality.
The living room is like one of an apartment or of a house without any particular acoustic treatment.
